Today the DFE published the final version of its strategy for Sustainability and climate change, pledging to start rolling out carbon literacy training for at least one person in each school by 2023. These lead teachers will build their knowledge of the issues of climate change and will be responsible for putting in place climate action plans, by 2025. The paper commits to new targets for schools between 2025 and 2035 as part of the “Let’s Go Zero” campaign.
At Energy Heroes we want to help! We are planning our next Eventbrite event- a money saving Maths workshop! It’s free and is aimed at supporting Primary teachers to embed energy efficiency and climate change education into the curriculum.
